Molly Tims Killian was born and raised in Michigan and pays homage to her midwestern roots by apologizing for errant furniture bumping. Molly was first published in Infectious Disease News before making a hard pivot to fiction. She writes for Medium as an independent author and for The Startup, Medium’s largest publication. She is a guest contributor and co host for A Place in Time history podcast. Additionally, Molly is a contributing writer for the Historic America Journal, the YouTube series Dead, White & Blue, and a former writer for Our American Stories radio program. She has performed in D.C. and Baltimore as a comedian for Mortified, whose spin-off podcast, documentary, and docuseries have received international fame and acclaim. Molly and her equally nerdy husband live in Washington, D.C, where she works in non-profit operations management.
